on saturday night i stayed at a cracking pub called the dartmoor inn.
i photographed it a couple of years ago. it's a belting place with
really good food, a decent range of beers and very nice rooms.
just before the champions league final i ordered up a pint of otter.
it was a local beer from devon... or dorset or cornwall... wherever we were.
i'd asked mrs w to pack my lucky man utd scarf so i could cheer on the
champions of england to victory against barcelona.
this is what i found when i looked in the case for my lucky scarf...
well that's just dynamite !
in the morning, full of good cheer after watching man utd get a right
thumping by the catalan giants, i skulked down to breakfast.
have a butchers at the menu. can you guess what i chose ?
hmmm...
but of course...
it cheered me up considerably... but i still couldn't face reading the sports
sections of the sunday papers.
is this what it feels like to be an arsenal fan gooner jeff ?
ah well... next season !
