if you're going to take my advice and go to the west house, then you might want to find some nearby accommodation for the night. we stayed in this corking place.
i think they just have 4 rooms. it's a beautiful house and the grounds, the rooms, the service etc... all first class.
check out this little chill out area in the back garden
it's hidden behind a couple of trees and faces out to green fields. v peaceful.
