banksy v robbo

there's been a lot of news regarding beef between banksy and robbo

recently. for those that don't know the story, robbo was a big

player on the grafitti scene back in the '80s.

this is one of his pieces from way back

it was by the regents canal in london.

just before christmas, banksy did his thing on top of the robbo piece

this caused much uproar, with a lot of people saying it was disrespectful

of banksy to paint over robbo's piece

then a couple of weeks later, robbo struck back...

i guess trying to say that he is still the king.

banksy also did this piece around the same time

and then robbo struck again...

having a pop at banksy.

now here's a first on my blog... a street art exclusive.

as far as i can see, this next round of banksy v robbo has

not been reported yet.

yesterday i went for a haircut and the banksy that is on the wall 

nearby... well, it originally looked like this...

and now it looks like this...

street art blog over... back to trainers and coffee next time.
